By now many Opinion Polls - whether at a UK or Wales Level; whether using the UNS or MRS methodology are showing the same thing: The Tories are history and in terms of Westminster Labour is on the way to a super-majority in the Hosue of Commons.  But they also show more than this.  But if you scratch the surface you can see that Plaid Cymru are on course to win 4 constituencies, including here in Ynys Mon.

The last two weeks have flown by. I am amazed and humbled by the number of people who have promised me their support for the General Election.

Llinos Medi, the candidate for the Party of Wales (Plaid Cymru) in Westminster, said:

The right to call somewhere home is at the core of that, but there is still so much work left to do to tackle the housing crisis."

Rhun ap Iorwerth, Leader of Plaid Cymru was in Westminster today responding to the Chancellor's Autumn Statement, having been calling for the Chancellor to use his Statement as a chance to demand fairness and ambition for Wales.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Nuclear Energy has published a report today (17/11/23) which urges UK ministers to support Wylfa on Ynys Môn as a site for a new nuclear power station by next year at the latest.

Horizon's Wylfa Newydd project was suspended in 2019 due to the UK Government failing to reach a funding agreement, despite the significant work that had been done locally to unplug the project.
